
MAMY SOR FASHION FOR A CAUSE: EDITION 5 LAUNCHED!
According to an article published on the lifemag website, on July 30 at the Palm Club in Cocody, the 5th edition of the pan-African fashion event Mamy Sor Fashion For A Cause was held.
The event will take place in Abidjan on August 28th. Sofitel Hotel Ivoire which will host this prestigious event with the theme: “The fashion industry at the service of made in Africa and the development of Africa”.
On the program, a panel with fashion players and investors; a fashion show with stylists from here and elsewhere. We will also be entitled to artists' performances and a delivery of certificates to personalities.
It should be remembered that Mamy Sor Fashion For A Cause still retains its social character. Fundraising will help 100 young girls in precarious situations by introducing them to fashion professions. This as well in Burkina Faso as in Ivory Coast. One of the peculiarities of this 5th edition is that it will be held in both these countries.

"Fashion For A Cause" is the brand of Burkinabé designer Mariam Soré alias Mamy Sor. With this brand, she chose to kill two birds with one stone, that is to say, to use fashion and its know-how for a good cause. This is for the stylist to lead a fundraiser during her fashion evenings organized each year. Sensitive and committed, the young designer will therefore repeat the feat for the benefit of women in the “Made in Africa” textile industry.
Previous events were marked by the presence of renowned stylists including Ainé Pathé Ouédraogo dit Pathe'O. We also saw the models of “innovative creation” with the collection called “Melting pot”, the designer Black from Burkina Faso and “Céleste confection” with “Saveur d'Afrique”.
